I decide to begin anywhere. Attach some volts 9V and confirm some pops with an eye towards static.
Some starting points. A couple of schematics to look for a way in to this projects’ possibilities. It is all about controlling the flow of low voltage electricity.
First a glance at a generic series datasheet to reveal what DIP pin corresponds to in and out, etc. First we recognize that the use of this IC is not intended for audio necessarily.
Start. Here is the plan. Work with CMOS logic chips to produce sound output. Simple means complex results are desired. I am starting with a phase locked loop voltage control oscillator IC and a handful of miscellaneous components, mainly resistors, capacitors, etc.
